MELANIE FLOWERS

EXECUTIVE MANAGING DIRECTOR

Melanie has extensive experience in finance, real estate, capital markets, project and risk management.  For nearly a decade previous to joining Augusta, she worked with a BPO provider and consultant, where she led a Global Delivery Program Management Office, managing 10 divisions, with oversight of over 125 banking projects, including end to end, component and audit services located on and offshore. Projects included: residential and commercial loans, Fintech initiatives working with NextGen enterprise solutions, and due diligence services provided for Government Sponsored Entities, Insurers, large banking institutions and other areas of the Capital Markets.  She led think tanks for innovative solutions utilizing blockchain and omni-channel data analytics for mortgage lending markets, served on global IP committee, and has served on various risk and compliance committees as a subject matter expert related to lending processes.

During her career she has supervised as many as 300 underwriters and was in a leading position over a large percentage of securitization reviews from the fallout of the mortgage market crash.  She provided oversight for close to 80% of audits performed for one of the largest securities fraud cases in US history.

Melanie is certified as a PMP through the Project Management Institute and held licenses as a mortgage loan officer in 47 US states.  She was nominated by OBJ- Women Who Mean Business “Business Executive of the Year” in 2015 and previously owned a company specializing in debt capital.  She is driven by strict adherence to conducting business through the highest ethical standards, while focusing on compliant “out of the box” thinking. Her years of project and finance experience provide the perfect background to identify and design innovative solutions for your large-scale project funding needs.
